Workshop On Career Counselling & Placement” by AKTU under TEQIP-III

A workshop for career counselling for prospective placement was organized by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh (AKTU) under TEQIP-3 at BBDNITM, Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta Auditorium on 26th September 2019 (Thursday). The resource person for the workshop was Mr. Dinesh Pathak, advisor AKTU, Lucknow. The workshop aimed to assist students in making and implementing informed educational and occupational choices.

Mr. Dinesh Pathak informed students about, what AKTU is planning to do in the benefits of the students, and how AKTU is channelizing the process of placement for the students.

Workshop on “PYTHON AND ITS APPLICATION WITH IOT”

Two days Workshop on “PYTHON AND ITS APPLICATION WITH IOT” has been successfully conducted by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering BBDNITM, Lucknow for Second year B.Tech. CSE students in collaboration with SOFTPRO INDIA by trainer Mr. Rohit Kumar, Lucknow on 17th and 18th September, 2019.Total 175 students were part of the workshop from 9 a.m to 5 p.m . The workshop focused on introducing the students of engineering discipline to the basics of Python and its applications with IoT (Internet of Things).

The event which was taking place in the Room No. 606 E-Block of BBDNITM was formulated to be an informative one with hopes of being interactive as well for the students to get them well acquainted with concepts and ignite in them the inquisitive nature which distinguishes an engineer from the crowd.

The workshop was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) Bhavesh Kumar Chauhan, Director of BBDNITM, and was organized by Prof. (Dr.) Diwakar Yagyasen (HOD CSE), Shadab Siddiqui and Shekhar Srivastava event coordinators. Also all the faculty members and other distinguished guests in the field of engineering attended the workshop.

Eight days Faculty Development Program on Universal Human Values and Professional Ethics

Value Education Cell BBDNITM organized Eight days Faculty Development Program on Universal Human Values and Professional Ethics from 21st December to 28th December 2018. 41 participants from various AKTU affiliated colleges attended this program. Resource person Mr. Moti Chand Yadav Ji and AKTU team facilitated this program. The program was quite successful and very well organized by Value Education Cell, BBDNITM, Lucknow.

Workshop on Computational Tools in Civil Engineering

Civil Engineering Department, Babu Banarasi Das National Institute of Technology and Management Lucknow organized half day workshop on “ Computational tools in Civil Engineering” on 29th august 2018(Wednesday). Er. Hemant Singh (Director- Soft CAD Automation & Training LLP) worked as a resource person during the workshop. The workshop had in total 300 participations including students of B.Tech (Civil- Vthsemester) BBDNITM, BBDNIIT, BBDU, BBDNIEC as well as faculty members. The workshop was officially inaugurated by Director BBDNITM Dr. S. H. Abdi and HOD (Civil engg) Prof. D.S.Ray at the inaugural session of the workshop. The chief guest for workshop was ER. J. K. Srivastava who is chief engineer in World Bank UPPWD.

The workshop laid the main focus on tools and software used in civil engineering for computing different aspect. This included software like AUTOCAD, STAAD.PRO, ANSYS, GEO.5, PRIMAVERA, ETABS, etc.
