P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. Candidates are advised to always mention the Institute Code in the admission form during counseling. The Institute Code of Babu Banarasi Das Institute of Technology & Management is 054.The eligibility criteria for admisson to various courses is as under.

UNDERGRADUATE
BACHELOR OF TECHNOLOGY (B.TECH.)
Branches: Computer Science & Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning), Computer Science & Engineering (Data Science), Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering.
Duration: 4 Years.
The subject combination required in the qualifying examination (intermediate examination of U.P.Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent) for admission to first year of different courses shall be as follows:-

Compulsory Subjects: Physics and Mathematics
Optional Subjects (Any one of following Subject)- Chemistry/Technical Vocational subject.
For admission to first year of B.Tech candidate must have clearly passed intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University and securing minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) without grace in required each compulsory subjects and one optional subject taken together as given above.

POSTGRADUATE
1. MASTER OF TECHNOLOGY (M.TECH.)
Branches: Production Engg.
Duration: 2 years
Eligibility: B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical/Industrial/Production/Manufacturing/Welding/ Material Science/Metallurgy Engineering with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates.)

2. MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (MBA)
Duration : 2 Years
Eligibility: Passed Bachelor Degree of minimum 3 years duration. Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST
