Overview and ObjectivesThe Robotics Club of BBDITM successfully hosted a comprehensive Two-Day Workshop on “Drone Technology, AI & Web Technology.” The workshop was designed to augment the students’ technical proficiency and practical skills in these rapidly evolving domains. The primary objective was to facilitate the transition from theoretical knowledge to practical application through an introduction to the fundamentals and hands-on aspects of Artificial Intelligence, Web Technologies, and Drone Systems.
    2. Day 1 Proceedings: Focus on AI and Web Technology (27th November 2025)The first day commenced with a brief welcome. Mr. Satyendra Ranjan, the workshop resource person, was formally welcomed with a bouquet presented by Dr. Usha Sharma, Convener, Robotics Club. Along with that, Mr. Shivam Dwivedi was welcomed by Prof. Rafeek Ahmed, HOD EE.
      Mr. Ranjan initiated the technical session on Artificial Intelligence and Web Technology. The proceedings for the day covered the following key areas:

      • Fundamentals of AI and Contemporary Applications: A foundational understanding of Artificial Intelligence and its diverse, real-world deployment.
      • Product Development Life Cycle: Exploring concepts from initial ideation to the creation of a Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
      • Career and Entrepreneurial Landscape: Analysis of AI’s transformative impact on startups and the emerging career opportunities within this sector.
      • Web Technology Integration: Essential web technology principles necessary for developing and deploying AI-driven projects.

      The session was highly interactive, promoting in-depth discussions on how AI is fundamentally reshaping modern innovation and entrepreneurship.

    3. Day 2 Proceedings: Focus on Drone Technology (28th November 2025)The second day began with a cordial welcome. Mr. Kshitij Gandhi (Aerospace Engineer & Co-Founder of Pyreign Technology), the resource person for the Drone workshop, was warmly welcomed by Mr. Abhishek Agrahari, President, Robotics Club.
      • Drone System Fundamentals: Principles of drone design, aeromechanics, and flight mechanisms.
      • AI Integration in Drone Systems: The application of AI for enhanced autonomous flight, data analysis, and advanced functionalities.
      • Practical Demonstration: A comprehensive hands-on demonstration showcasing the live operation and capabilities of drone systems.
      • Regulatory and Future Outlook: Discussion on safety standards, industry regulations, and the projected future applications of drones across various sectors.

The practical demonstrations and interactive activities generated significant enthusiasm among the participants, offering valuable practical exposure to cutting-edge drone technologies.

    1. Additional Initiative: Member Recruitment DriveIn conjunction with the workshop, the Robotics Club launched a member recruitment drive to attract motivated students eager to contribute to innovative projects in the field of robotics and automation.

Induction Program

The Induction Program for the 2nd and 3rd-year students was organized to provide a refreshed academic orientation and to foster a sense of community among students as they progressed into higher stages of their academic journey.

This program aimed to bridge the gap between academic years, reintroduce students to campus life, update them on curriculum changes, and guide them on expectations for the new academic session 2024–25.

The initiative also focused on enhancing students’ awareness of available academic and co-curricular opportunities, encouraging collaboration, and motivating them for career planning and personal growth. It served as a platform to connect students with faculty, mentors, and peer groups, thereby creating a supportive and engaging environment to ensure a smooth and successful academic year ahead.

Industry Visit to STPI, Lucknow

1. Brief Description:

On 19th November 2024, Binary Brains, the official club of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, organized an industry visit to the Software Technology Park of India (STPI), Lucknow.
This visit was aimed at providing students with hands-on exposure to IT infrastructure, the incubation process for startups, and opportunities provided by STPI for budding entrepreneurs.

Mr. Rajeev Srivastava and Mr. Ravi, faculty members, accompanied the students to assist and guide them during the visit.

➤ Phase 2: Incubation Center Tour:

Under the guidance of Mr. Satyam, students explored the incubation center, which serves as a hub for nurturing startups.

  • He detailed the history and objectives of STPI and its commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.

    • How STPI provides office space, stipends, and funding up to ₹25 lakhs for startups

    • The PNP (Plug-and-Play) model for startups

    • The CHUNAUTI Program, enabling startups to pitch their ideas to industry experts

  • Students also had an engaging session with Mr. Vinod Kumar Gautam, Head of LAITKOR Consultancy Pvt. Ltd., who provided valuable insights into the current hiring landscape and industry expectations. He patiently addressed students’ questions and offered practical advice.

The final phase was conducted in the conference hall, where Mr. Jairam Yadav delivered an informative presentation on STPI’s mission and operations.

  • He discussed the foundation, objectives, and achievements of STPI.

  • Students were encouraged to think critically about their future plans, with Mr. Yadav interacting with them about their aspirations and providing guidance.

This event will focus on the key legal requirements that every startup needs to navigate, from business registration and intellectual property protection to understanding local, state, and federal regulations. Participants also gained valuable insights into ethical decision-making frameworks, including the importance of sustainability, corporate social responsibility, and fostering a positive organizational culture.

Throughout the event, experts guided attendees on how to choose the right business structure, create legally sound contracts, avoid common legal pitfalls, and make decisions that align with ethical business practices. BIT BY BIT CHALLENGE

1. Brief Description

Binary Brains successfully organized the “Bit by Bit Challenge”, an exciting Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) competition exclusively designed for 3rd-year students of BBDITM. The competition aimed to test and enhance students’ problem-solving abilities by presenting them with four challenging coding problems on HackerRank.
