Crafting Culture

Department of Management under the Udghosh Forum, the HR Club Hridaya organized an exclusive event, “Crafting Culture,” for MBA students on 27th November 2024 at 12 PM.
The session was packed with engaging activities like Role Play and Ice-breaking games, fostering group coordination and teamwork. Students dived into the world of HR practices and values, gaining invaluable insights while having fun with interactive learning.
It was a day of learning, collaboration, and excitement!

Alumni Meet 2024

The “Udghosh Forum” and the Department of Management, BBDITM organized an Alumni Visit on 28th October 2024, as part of the Alumni Meet, to celebrate the cherished memories and strengthen alumni connections. The event was graced by Prof. (Dr.) S. S. Chauhan, Director of the Institute and Prof. (Dr.) S. H. Abidi, Registrar, BBDITM. Prof. Chauhan, highlighted the significance of maintaining strong ties between Alumni and the Institution.The program commenced with a welcome speech by Prof (Dr) Divya Gangwar, Head of the Department, followed by a heartfelt welcome song by the students. The Alumni recharged their memories of their college life with the esteemed faculty members. The event featured engaging activities, such as a “Best Memory” sharing session, singing, dancing, and other interactive performances that added joy to the celebration. The Alumni wall showcased the memories and thoughts of the Alumni.

Online Awareness Programme of MCX India Ltd.

The Department of Management, BBDITM, organized an online “Awareness Program” by MCX (Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd.) on 14th October 2024. The event saw active participation from students and faculty members, with Mr. Sanjay Gakhar, Vice President and Regional Head (Business Development) of MCX Delhi, as the Resource Person. The session focused on Financial Derivatives was highly insightful, offering students valuable learning opportunities about the commodity exchange market.

The Department of Management, BBDITM, hosted an insightful Guest Lecture on “Leveraging Social Media for Startup Growth” on 9th October 2024. Prof. (Dr.) S. S. Chauhan, Director of BBDITM and an experienced expert in the startup ecosystem, shared key strategies and expert tips on using social media to catalyze startup growth. The lecture provided students and aspiring entrepreneurs with practical insights into maximizing social media platforms for business expansion and visibility.

Webinar on Mastering LinkedIn

The Department of Management, BBDITM, organized a Webinar on the topic “Mastering LinkedIn: Creating A Powerful Profile to Boost Your Professional Presence” , on 27th September 2024. The event was conducted through an online platform , with enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members. It was organized with the objective to make students learn expert tips and strategies to craft a standout profile and expand their linkedin network. The Resource Person was Dr. Shilki Bhatia, Certified Corporate Facili Trainer ,Personality Coach and POSH Certified Trainer. The session was very insightful and students had a great learning from the session.

MBA Orientation Program

On September 19, 2024, the Department of Management organized the Orientation Program titled “PARICHAY 2024” for the MBA Batch, 2024-2026. The event featured a blend of academic activities, including games and quizzes, alongside a vibrant array of cultural performances. These performances were presented under the “Udghosh Forum” and its various clubs, showcasing their talent. The event was honored by the presence of esteemed guests, Director: Prof. (Dr). S.S. Chauhan , Registrar, Prof(Dr). S.H. Abdi ,Controller of Examinations (COE) Prof. Shivanand Shakya , Head, Management, Prof. (Dr). Divya Gangwar , Head of  Departments and faculty members of the MBA Department.

The freshers had a great learning about the Institute.

Guest Lecture on Entrepreneurship and Branding

On June 25th 2024, Department of Management hosted a Guest Lecture on the topic “Entrepreneurship and Branding” delivered by Dr Tejaswini Singh, a distinguished women entrepreneur and accomplished professional. Dr Tejaswinin Singh is a renowned Journalist and successful entrepreneur. She is Herbologist & Organic Researcher , Entrepreneur, Founder of Organic Greens and Botanical Naturopathy. She is a panelist in  Leading News Channels. She shared her journey of success as women entrepreneurs along with Dos and Don’ts for StartUp. She also discussed the potential areas for entrepreneurship.  Following the talk, there was an engaging Q&A session.

Alumni Talk – Impact of Job Portals on the Career Trajectory of Emerging Managers

On May 28, 2024, Department of Management, BBDITM hosted an Alumni Talk on the topic “Impact of Job Portals on the Career Trajectory of Emerging Managers” delivered by Ms. Prachi Mishra, a distinguished alumna and accomplished professional. Ms Prachi Mishra is working as Deputy HR Manager at Namdev Finvest Pvt. Ltd. Ms. Prachi detailed the various career opportunities available in the field of HR and provided advice on how to seize these opportunities. She also discussed the use of various Job Portals. Following the talk, there was an engaging Q&A session.

The Department of Management at BBDITM hosted an Alumni Panel Discussion on “Classroom to Corporate Success Stories” on May 3, 2024. The esteemed panel comprised three distinguished alumni namely Mr. Divyansh Srivastava ,currently working as Talent Development Professional at Deloitte. Mr Ravindra Pratap Singh, working as Relationship Manager At ICICI BANK and Mr. Yash Prakash, working as Zonal HR Manager at IIFH Finance. Each alumnus shared their unique journey from academia to the professional world, offering valuable insights and inspiring experiences. The event provided a platform for current students to learn from real-world experiences and gain valuable perspectives on transition from classroom learning to corporate success.
