This event was organized on 23rd February 2026,  focused on the importance of Design Thinking, Critical Thinking, and Innovation Design in today’s technological era. These approaches help students develop creativity, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills essential for building innovative and user-centric solutions. The session was conducted under the guidance of our respected Head of Department, Prof. (Dr.) Shailendra Tahilyani  The resource person of the event was Mr. Anand Mohan, Principal Software Engineer. Students of the department of ECE had a very useful session on the topic “ Design Thinking, Critical Thinking & Innovation Design  ”. Total 68 participants (students/faculty) were present in the event. Vote of thanks for the speaker’s was given by Dr. Abhimanyu Kumar Yadav.

FDP Day 2 on “Artificial Intelligence in Cyber Security”

Description: Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized the FDP on Advanced Computing and Sustainable Technologies in collaboration with FORCE and IETE. The Speaker for Day 2 was Dr. Vibha Sinha, Associate Professor, KCC Institute of Technology and Management, Greater Noida. The speaker was welcomed by Dr. Shailendra Tahilyani, Convener of FDP. The FDP session on “Artificial Intelligence in Cyber Security” gave a clear and simple understanding of how AI helps protect digital systems. The session started with an introduction to how AI and cyber security work together to detect and stop attacks more quickly. The speaker explained basic AI techniques like finding patterns and spotting unusual activities in networks.

She also talked about how machine learning is used to identify malware, phishing, and other cyber threats by learning from past data. Deep learning, a more advanced form of AI, was explained as a powerful method for analyzing complex threats. The session introduced several AI-based security tools that help monitor systems automatically.

Real-life applications of AI in cyber security were shared, showing how AI improves threat detection and response. The session ended with the benefits and future of AI, highlighting faster detection, better accuracy, and smarter automated security systems. FDP Day 1 on “Time delay Challenges in Real Time Systems”

The Speaker for Day 1 was Dr. Vipin Chandra Pal, Assistant Professor, NIT, Silchar. The speaker was welcomed by Dr. Shailendra Tahilyani, Convener of FDP. The session on Time delay Challenges in Real Time Systems was highly insightful and intellectually stimulating. He began by highlighting the critical role of time delays in control and real-time systems, explaining how even small delays can significantly affect system stability and performance. A major focus of the lecture was the concept of Lyapunov stability for linear systems. Dr. Pal clearly explained how Lyapunov functions are constructed and used to analyze system behavior, emphasizing their importance in assessing stability under varying delay conditions. He also discussed practical approaches for handling delays, modeling techniques, and the relevance of delay-dependent and delay-independent stability criteria. His examples and systematic explanations made complex mathematical ideas accessible to participants. Overall, the session provided a strong theoretical foundation and practical insights, making it extremely valuable for researchers and practitioners working with real-time and control systems. Advanced Computing and Sustainable Technologies” from 8 to 12 December 2025

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized a five-day FDP on Advanced Computing and Sustainable Technologies in collaboration with FORCE and IETE. The speaker was welcomed by Dr. Shailendra Tahilyani, Convener of FDP. Day 1 featured Dr. Vipin Chandra Pal, NIT Silchar, discussing time-delay challenges in real-time systems and Lyapunov stability, providing both theoretical foundations and practical methods to handle delays. Day 2, led by Dr. Vibha Sinha, KCC Institute, focused on Artificial Intelligence in Cyber Security, explaining AI and machine learning techniques for threat detection, malware analysis, and automated security tools. On Day 3, Mr. Aditya Kushwaha, NSUT Delhi, presented mixed-dimensional high-performance photo and gas sensors, highlighting nanomaterials, sensing mechanisms, and computational analysis. Day 4, Mr. Anand Mohan Tiwari, Dell Technologies, detailed Linux OS architecture, kernel, and device driver development, covering user/kernel space, storage drivers, and multithreading. Day 5, Dr. Shailendra Kumar, Integral University, emphasized ICT tool upgradation for student-centric teaching, promoting digital platforms, flipped classrooms, and active learning. The FDP provided participants with a comprehensive blend of theory, practical insights, and emerging technological trends. Day 3 Description: Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized the FDP on Advanced Computing and Sustainable Technologies in collaboration with FORCE and IETE. The Speaker for Day 3 was Mr. Aditya Kushwaha, Research Scholar, Netaji Subhas University of Technology, New Delhi, India. The speaker was welcomed by Dr. Shailendra Tahilyani, Convener of FDP. The FDP session on “Mixed Dimensional based High-Performance Photo and Gas Sensors” offered a concise yet informative overview of advanced sensor technologies. It introduced the basics of nanotechnology and highlighted how nanoscale materials improve sensitivity. The concept of mixed-dimensional sensors, combining 0D, 1D, and 2D materials, was discussed for their enhanced performance. Various sensing mechanisms—including electrical and optical signal changes—were explained to show how devices detect external stimuli. The session also covered Mulliken population analysis, a computational method used to study charge distribution and bonding, helping interpret sensor–molecule interactions. Overall, the session effectively connected material science, device design, and theoretical analysis for next-generation sensors. Carrer Opportunity in VLSI Design and Embedded System

Department of Electronics and Communication, BBDITM organized an event in collaboration FORCE and IETE on Career Opportunity in VLSI Design and Embedded System..

This event was organized on 21st November 2025, with the motive to spread the message of importance of VLSI Design and Embedded Systems because they power the core intelligence of all modern electronic devices, from mobiles to automotive systems. These fields drive innovation, enabling faster, smarter, and energy-efficient technologies for the future. The event was organized under the guidance of our respected Head of Department, Prof. (Dr.) Shailendra Tahilyani sir. The resource person of the event was Mr. Vaibhav Mishra, Founder PinE Training Academy. Students of the department of ECE had a very useful session on the topic “Career Opportunity in VLSI Design and Embedded System”. Industrial Visit at Balram Bottlers on 19 March 2025

The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering in collaboration with Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Government of India has successfully organized an industrial visit for ECE 3rd year students at Balram Bottlers, Industrial Area Sarojini Nagar, Lucknow on 19th March 2025. The objective of industrial visit to a water supply company is to offer students a chance to learn how science and technology are applied in the real world to solve essential societal problems like access to clean drinking water. It enhances their understanding of industrial operations, the environment, and offers a practical perspective on their studies.

This event was organized under the guidance of respected Head of Department Prof. (Dr.) Shailendra Tahilyani sir and respected Director Dr. Shailendra Singh Chauhan Sir.

The outcome of this industrial visit is that our students learned about the processes used to purify raw water to make it safe for drinking. This includes physical, chemical, and biological methods used to remove contaminants. They were introduced to the various stages of water treatment, such as coagulation, sedimentation, filtration, disinfection, and distribution. In addition, our students were also got an overview of the advanced technologies used in water purification, such as reverse osmosis, ultraviolet (UV) treatment, and advanced filtration techniques.

Project Competition

The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering in collaboration with IETE and FORCE (Departmental Club) has successfully organized Project Competition on 11/02/2025 in the Department of ECE, BBDITM.

This event was organized under the guidance of respected Head of Department Prof. (Dr.) Shailendra Tahilyani with a message to use the technology to achieve a specific goal, whether it’s software development, hardware installation, system integration, or network design. The students showcased different projects regarding robotics, line follower, light follower, blind stick etc.

Cyber Security Awareness Program

The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering in collaboration with IIC, IETE and FORCE (Departmental Club) has successfully organized Cyber Security Awareness Program on 26/11/2024 in the department for all students of BBDITM.

This event was organized under the guidance of respected Head of Department Prof. (Dr.) Shailendra Tahilyani with a message to develop the level of understanding that user have about cyber threats and how to mitigate them. Cyber security awareness refers to how much end users know about cyber security threats their networks face, the risks they introduce and mitigating security best practices to guide their behavior.

Total 10 teams had participated in this awareness program through PPT with their ideas about cyber security awareness.  The event was concluded with vote of thanks by Dr. Rupali Agarwal.
