The Mechanical Engineering Department is one of the oldest and the largest department in terms of faculty, students and activities in various directions in BBDITM, Lucknow. The reputation of being among the finest in the uttar Pradeshand country and is dedicated towards the advancement of technology and science.

The department combines strengths in the traditional as well as the modern. The Department of Mechanical Engineering offers two Bachelor of Technology programmers in the area of ted for these two programmers.

The department also offers M. Tech program in Production Engineering. The department is running four semester Master of Technology programmers in Mechanical Engineering with the specialization area of Production Engineering .
