First-year students ofMBA and B. Techfrom BBDITM, along with students from other prestigious institutions, attended the online National Induction 6.0 program, organised on 26th. August 2025. at 5:00 pm, making the event a vibrant confluence of young minds and educators.

The session commenced with an introduction to Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, fondly known as Gurudev, highlighting the transformative power of “Sudarshan Kriya”– a breathing technique aimed at fostering a stress-free and healthy life.

Prof. T.G. Sitharam, Chairman of AICTE, delivered the opening address, emphasizing:The critical role of moral education in shaping youth and the relevance of NEP 2020in reforming the Indian education system. He warmly welcomed Gurudev, setting the tone for an insightful session.

Gurudev addressed the challenges faced by today’s youth, including:Rising levels of Aggression, Depression, and ADHD(Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). He stressed upon the importance of empathy, encouraging everyone to reach out to those who appear distressed. He advocated forBreathing techniquesand Meditationas tools for emotional and mental well-being. He also highlighted the need for cultivating creativity, innovation, and resilience among the youth,embracingentrepreneurship qualities as a path to mental balance and societal contribution.

Participants from various institutions presented their queries to Gurudev, seeking guidance on personal growth, mental health, and spiritual practices. The session concluded with a serene guided meditation led by Gurudev, leaving attendees with a sense of calm, clarity, and purpose.

Summary of the Event:

The Department of Management, BBDITM successfully conducted a Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “NEP Orientation & Sensitisation” from 4th to 14th August 2025, under the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme (MMTTP) in collaboration with Hansraj College, New Delhi.

The FDP featured enriching sessions on diverse themes including Indian Knowledge Systems, Holistic& Multidisciplinary Education, SkillDevelopment, Research& Innovation, Academic Leadership, and Inclusive Pedagogies.

This 8-day journey brought together eminent experts and passionate educators, fostering insightful dialogues on shaping the future of higher education in alignment with NEP 2020.

Together, we move closer to building a more inclusive, innovative, and impactful education system.
